FELLOW BIPP – FBIPP
Den højeste kvalifikation i BIPP
BIPP skriver om FBIPP “Fellowship requires the candidate to produce a panel of work that demonstrates extremely high levels of technical and creative ability and to show a uniqueness of style and approach to image making. Fellowship always requires the demonstration of significant individual input.”

dff/Supreme Qualified Master Photographer, dff [SQM]
“… behind the scene …”
The idea of this series of images had been in my head for a few months before going into the actual sessions they where made in.
Sensuality, involvement, movement, intensity, passion are the keywords of this series of images, that can also show a feeling of some eroticism present in the images.
The 2 different series of images are the same in displaying sensuality, involvement and movement etc, but very different in the way this is done and in the “variation” of the theme.
The bluish images displays a more classical softness with a model closer to the “more classic model shapes”, where the dark series displays a more rough, yet also sensual soft, and hard approach. The model in the dark images is not a classic model, more of a voluptuous lady.
I have set the images visually along and interacting to show sensuality and intensity comes in many forms.
The, possibly, bold cuts are made to are made to emphasise the message and active emotional involvement.
The Process of creation
I like to let a “controlled”/planned situation develop trough intuition and “inter”relation with my subject in order to both get what I plan to do and let at situation develop and give opportunities of images.
I know this can sound a bit “wired”, but in order to create images which catches and displays emotions you have to be able to both work in the direction you want – and let the emotions of the situation and/or fantasies be part of the process. I need to trust my intuition and my ideas. It takes time, planning, involvement and openness at the same time.
Bluish images
The images are made with a “sharp” images in-camera sandwiched with an “un-sharp” to support the sense of movement and support the soft, yet hard, sensuality the images show.
The overall feel of lightness is toned with a “bluish” to balance the hot sensuality in the images, thereby supporting a sense of “dualism”.
It is sharp, but moves. It is hot, but not just hot. It is erotic, but not just erotic. It is (body) portraits of an individual, but it is also “lady-sensuality” at a more general level.
It is not just a single statement, but a statement to evolve over time.
Dark images
The images of this voluptuous lady are made to be over all sharp – not to “hide” anything in unsharpness or blur of movement. I wanted her “true” features to be emphasised in the images, which is also why I used a HDR effect to make her skin and the light in the skin stand out more.
This technic made to support the very sensual feeling in the model in a more hard and direct yet subdued way.
The images are toned in a warm tone to also use this in balancing the hard against the soft in the images – to also in this series create a “dualism” in the images.
Music & Intuition
Music is part of the creative process for me, as both the photographed and I can use it as a underlying continuum in our process of interaction during the session.
